USA Mobile Drug Testing closely monitors Department of Transportation (DOT) drug & alcohol testing regulations so that our clients maintain 100% compliance. Back in 2010 the Department of Health and Human Services’ 2010 Federal Drug Testing Custody and Control Form (CCF) was introduced and approved for use starting on October 1, 2010. DOT drug testing is always performed on the Federal CCF.
The old CCF’s from 2001 were approved to be used through September 30, 2011. This allowed labs, collection sites, employers and third-party administrators to burn through their existing supplies, thus minimizing needless waste.
On Monday, September 26, 2011, DOT announced it would extend the use of the old CCF’s to November 30th, 2011.
USA Mobile Drug Testing advises all of its clients as well as others in the drug and alcohol testing industry that the best business practice in preparation of this deadline extension is to replace the old form with the new CCF. Please don’t delay.
All of the USA Mobile Drug Testing operations in 19 States are currently in compliance using the new 2010 Federal Drug Testing Custody and Control Forms (CCF’s).
