Third Party Administrator (TPA)

Last updated : July 14, 2025

Outsourcing certain tasks is a smart way to run a company. It can save you time and money. Instead of getting bogged down with the specifics of certain aspects of your business, you entrust others to perform those necessary tasks for you. Have you thought about outsourcing your employee drug testing program? Let USA Mobile Drug Testing be your full-service Third Party Administrator (TPA).

We specialize in drug testing, and acting as your TPA, we make it our job to handle your drug and alcohol testing program. It frees you up to focus on other matters.

From start to finish

USA Mobile Drug Testing becomes the liaison between you and the drug testing lab. Additionally, we follow up with any necessary reporting and documentation. In other words, we manage your entire drug testing program for you. This includes maintaining all necessary test records and other paperwork, ensuring that your company complies with all local, federal, and state drug testing regulations. We set up and completely maintain your random drug testing program too, using our software.

This service includes entering employee names into the drawing pool, scheduling periodic test dates, and—if you choose to have  on-site testing done—administering the random drug tests throughout the year. We even check in periodically to ensure there haven’t been any new hires’ names missed.

Once arriving on-site, our technicians prepare the area that will be used for testing. Then, employees cycle through and return to work in no time. Your productivity levels stay on track, and you’re saving money not having to pay for drive time to and from a testing facility.

If you prefer to have employees report to a testing facility off-site, we provide them with Donor Passes to streamline the process. Moreover, if you need help setting up or updating your drug-free program, we’ve got you covered! USAMDT will customize your drug testing policies and procedures to fit your needs, provide employee education, and hold classes for supervisory training.

DOT Mandated Employers

Employers of the safety-sensitive workforce are required to follow the Department of Transportation’s (DOT’s) strict drug testing protocol. We know the DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements inside and out and are prepared to file the electronic Custody and Control Form (eCCF) if that’s how you roll.

We follow the regulatory language in DOT 49 CFR Part 40 to a “T.”

So, of course, we know what to do if a safety-sensitive employee tests positive for drugs. If it happens, one of our Medical Review Officer (MRO) team members ensures things are handled as mandated by the Department of Health and Human Services. USAMDT also reports positive results to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s (FMCSA) Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse within the required time limit.

We handle all types of DOT drug testing:

  • Pre-employment drug testing
  • Reasonable suspicion drug testing
  • Post-accident drug testing
  • Probationary drug testing
  • Random drug testing

We realize that ultimately, the DOT holds the employer responsible should a TPA mishandle a situation. However, we strive to make you look good, so no worries there.

We’re ready to roll

If you’re ready to hand off your drug testing program to a team of professionals, USAMDT won’t let you down! We will do what it takes to make sure you remain in compliance with local, federal, and state officials. You can count on our team to provide you and your employees with exceptional customer service with a smile.

Our mobile service comes to your workplace or shows up on the job site if you’ve got remote crews. Do you have an overnight staff? We operate twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week—imagine how happy they’d be to take the drug test during their normal working hours! No more sleep disruption for days because showing up for the test got them out of sync! Or we’ll provide your employees with Donor Passes if you’d rather have them report to a testing facility.

TPAs make managing your drug testing program easier. What are you waiting for? Give us a call today!
